I wondered how I could still stand on my feet not so long ago. I looked deep, and it wasn’t my thought at all, but voices of the weights of the past trying to take me back with them.

In the name of God, NO. My inner voice, my inner-child for me, always stands with me. Like a guide, a friend. I was looking through his eyes while I was facing this world. I know now, he was you,

Lord, always you: guiding me, loving me, holding me, protecting me. You are my Father, and I Am your beloved Son.

You gave me love when it was required

You protect me, even if from myself

You gave me strength when it was needed

You provide me enough to sustain me at every meal

You purred my cup with love when humans left me for dead.

You are the reason, Lord

The reason I Woke

The reason I Love

The reason I Live

The reason I Share

The reason I Forgive

The reason I Win.

The reason today I call out your name.

Thank you for Your Blessing

Thank you for Your Guidance

Thank you for Your Protection

Thank you for Your Delivery

Thank you for Your Unconditional Love.
