The Chosen

That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:10

The Chosen is the largest crowdfunded media project of all time and a fantastic TV Show to watch. First, thanks to all of the TEAM for this matter piece. The showrunner, Dallas Jenkins, has set a goal to be seen by 1 billion people.

Let’s make this happen for this show.

The show does not operate as a standard TV show with scheduled release dates. Instead, once the episodes are edited and ready to go, they are pushed live on The Chosen app and any app store. No subscriptions are required.

Yesterday I watched some videos on a platform and some entertaining pop up, so The Chosen trailer appeared.

The Chosen: Opening Credits with Lyrics

I was blown up and clicked without a blink to download the app and go on with the first episode. I watch a lot of series; I devoured all 8 episodes in a row. I wanted to find out what would happen next after each cliffhanger.

I finished the entire first season now I’m looking for words to explain precisely, with the emotion and the right words to credit this chef d’oeuvre.

Revisiting in an exciting interpretation the life of Jesus of Nazareth was what I was in need right now in my life; it feels like a fresh breeze on my face. I cried, yes, I did; I smiled too. I love the intro; I sang it since the second episode. Kinda jump on the water.

So now let’s talk about the show.

For now, two seasons of the 7 seasons planned by the producer are already on air, available on any platform worldwide for free, as I explained previously for those who don’t know about it.

Season 1

It was a blessing, and I was amazed by the show’s quality, episode by episode. You “walk on the water” with every character.

I saw myself in some situations, and I felt the pain, the rejection, the fear, the sadness, the despair, the greed.

But, on the other hand, I saw the love, the joy, the happiness, the share, the compassion, the trust, and the faith.

What is it like to have faith?

You can lose everything, but your faith no one can’t take it from you.

This series made me question my lifestyle. I dived in my thoughts about the purpose of my life… Like any character on the show, I had some issues brought by myself or by some third party who have their own interpretation of things regarding your life.

Now I separate things, move forward, and grow too. With that, I’ll let you watch and learn your own lesson. In two days, I watched the whole season 1, 4 times; yes, I am that kind of person.

Anyway, may you enjoy the show and feel free to help reach the 1 billion goals of viewers.
